Lara is an experienced international development consultant, passionate about driving meaningful change through strategic partnerships and innovative project development. With expertise in partnership management, strategic planning, fundraising, and stakeholder engagement, she has a proven track record of securing and managing significant six-figure funding commitments. Currently supporting a range of World Bank initiatives, Lara navigates complex global challenges — from sustainability and social impact to fostering high-impact collaborations.

Lara’s extensive background includes working with NGOs such as International Tree Foundation, Rewriting Earth and Montessori Global Education, where she has helped organizations in establishing strategic partnerships with the EU, corporations and philanthropies. Lara holds an LLM in Law and Politics of International Security from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and a BA (Honours) in International Relations and Politics from the University of Northampton. Fluent in English and Croatian and proficient in Spanish, she combines international perspective with hands-on expertise in EU fundraising, grant writing and project management.

​​Lara’s all about the music – whether she’s at a concert, a festival, or flipping through vinyl records. She’s also a huge dog lover — even without one of her own, she’s the first person her friends call when they need a dogsitter!
